4 Steps to Make Sure You’re Wearing a Bra Properly

Putting on a bra is easy, but making sure it fits in your body properly, not many women would do that, especially if they think they don’t have the time for that. The truth is, it is extremely important, and necessary, to make sure that you have put on your bra properly before you go about your wonderful day. If you’re not wearing it properly, you might as well not wearing a bra because they are not properly supporting your breasts.

The owner of Esteem Lingerie, Angela, found a very interesting way to demonstrate how to wear a bra properly with the Stoop, Scoop, Swoop and Jiggle technique. Let’s find out!

Step 1 of 4: Stoop

Bend at the waist. What you want to do here is to use the gravity assist to help bring your breast tissue down, naturally. This step will help put all your breast tissue in one place and not scattered around.

Step 2 of 4: Scoop

This step aims to help you retrieve all your breast tissue. Your breast tissues can be pressed  towards your back, so you need to make the adjustment to bring .Take your hand, insert inside your cup, reaching your back, and “scoop” it up towards the middle of your chest.

Step 3 of 4: Swoop

Insert two fingers from each of your hand, insert them to the base of the breast, lift and “swoop” them up. When this happens, your centre gore will rest against your chest wall, which is exactly how it helps support your breasts properly

Step 4 of 4: Jiggle

You need to make sure that your underwire is right under the base of your breasts before you begin step 4.

Pull one side of your cup with one hand on the top of the cup and another on the lower part of the cup, and move the cup around and “jiggle” them.  This step makes sure that all your breast tissues are wrapped and settled in the bra.

The last thing she did as the finishing step, is pulling down her bra band, the thing to keep in mind is: the top line of your bra band should be parallel to the bottom line of your front part of the bra. If they are not parallel, it means that the bra is not worn properly and there will be less support for your breasts.
