You have heard of flights bringing people on a trip across countries, but you’ve certainly never heard of a bra bringing a lizard on a trip!
A British woman, Lisa Russell was unpacking her suitcase after reaching home from a beautiful trip to Barbados when she got a fright from a 5cm gecko laying on her bra!
When she was clearing her suitcase, the 47 year old saw a black spot on her lingerie and she assumed that it was a dead lizard so she shook it, but it moved and she started screaming.
As she recalled, it seemed that the lizard liked the bra very much because it stayed on it, “I put the bra in a plastic sandwich box with the lizard still on it.” Unlike many women, the gecko must’ve found it comfortable to take a nap on the bra but woke up in a whole new place, without having Covid test!
“It is not what you expect to find in your bra after a 4,000-mile journey.”

She then contacted RSPCA, an animal welfare charity in UK to check on the little creature.
Sandra from RSPCA said that the gecko may have survived the flight, but it would not survive under UK’s climate.
The tiny female gecko, now named Barbie, was then taken in by a specialist reptile keeper where she is reported to be doing well after her trip from Bra-bados. What a memorable experience to end a trip for Ms. Lisa Russell!
