At many times, we may not know we are wearing an ill-fitting bra because we were not taught how to identify one or we do not feel uncomfortable with our bras. Nevertheless, with the way you look with your bra on, you can actually identify whether you’re wearing the wrong bra or not. With this article, we hope to enlighten you with visual guides on how it looks when women are wearing a wrong bra so that you can avoid these mistakes. Read on and find out more!
Your bra band can be pulled away loosely from your skin
If you can pull your bra band too much away from the skin, you are wearing the wrong bra. You should be able to put around 2 finger sizes between your skin and your bra band. Anything more than that, you should consider getting a smaller band because a loose band will not be able to support your breasts.

The Straps Are Digging Into Your Skin
The shoulder straps should not be too tight that it digs into your shoulder. 80 percent of your breast support should come from the bra band and not the straps.

Your bra band is not parallel
Another sign that your band is too big, is that when you look at the side of the bra, your band is not parallel to the bra. When you can feel your band going up against your back, you probably have a loose bra band, and you need to change it to a bra with a smaller band.

The centre gore is not laying flat against your skin
When the centre gore does not lie flat against your chest, it means the bra is loose for you. The centre part should stick to your skin and it does not have space in between. When you lift your arms, if the gore is still sticking out from your chest, this means that the band is too big for you and your breasts are not properly supported, so you need a smaller band.

The quad boob effect

The quad boob (an appearance of as if you are having four boobs) is caused by the top edge of the bra cups cutting through your breast tissue. The possible reasons that you are having a quad boob might be because you are wearing a cup too small of your size, or you are wearing the wrong type of bra for your breast shape.
