Men and women are the two oldest genders, dating back to the creation of man. At first, they were not too different from each other. However, as time went by, their needs and wants began to differ drastically. One such example is the bra. Most women, and those who identify as women, wear bras. But because bras were specially designed for ladies, men and those who identify as men have little knowledge about it, if any at all.
Some people think this is a good thing, because it would be embarrassing if men know a lot about bras or that only thirsty men would want to know more. But let’s say you have a boyfriend or a husband, and you have to buy yourself a bra. While it would be easier to just let him stand outside while you pick a bra, wouldn’t it be better if you both selected one and he gave you his opinion? Or if you are being raised by a single dad or male parent figure, wouldn’t having at least a little knowledge be useful in helping you buy a bra?
Today, it is time to find out once and for all whether men should have a good – and clean – knowledge about bras.
It’s all about understanding

In many cases, men don’t understand what women want, and bras are one of them. They don’t understand why there are so many types of bras, and don’t know which one a woman wants. Maybe they know they exist but other than looking good, they may not understand why women wear them. If they understand what size and type of bra a woman wants, they will understand women a little bit more, and women will have an easier time communicating with men.
Know more, thirst less

We humans like to try new things, and once we have, new things become old things that we keep within us for the rest of our lives. The consequence that comes with this is we tend to get bored with old things. This mentality, however, is useful in some situations. Let’s say a man has been working in a lingerie shop for years. Eventually he will get used to seeing lingerie and he won’t be perverted or inappropriate. This also applies to young boys. If you teach them about this in controlled methods when they are young, eventually they won’t grow up to be perverted.
Softie

Men are usually known for being manly and tough, but what women want is a softer, more polite gentleman. This can actually be achieved in a few ways. If a man can understand and embrace the things women understand and embrace, then they will be kinder and more gentlemanly. If they have a good knowledge on bras, this is one of the roads to slowly giving them insight to understanding women and in turn, making them more sensitive and gentle.
Broadened professions

Remember back in the world wars when men went to fight? The people who did the work back home were the women. The same can apply to men. In this current age, people can be anything they want. A woman can do jobs men do, and men can do jobs women do. If a man has good knowledge about bras, they will have a broader job scope. They can work as a tailor specializing in women’s bras, or work at a retail shop selling bras. The job possibilities become much wider.
Men having a good knowledge of bras doesn’t have to be creepy or perverted. It can actually be beneficial when they have female family members or just simple knowledge under their belt that could be useful when the time comes.
