A beautiful cause
A philanthropist from St Pete, Denise Peske, is launching a free event called “Pretty Lovely You” on Sunday, 16th of January 2022, to help women of Tampa Bay find the bra for them no matter their body type. This free event is available with free bra fitting sessions at J9 Shoe Salon, an online lingerie shop, and a confidence-boosting therapy session.
Origins
She started Pretty Lovely You as a way to celebrate all body types, including her own.
Giving the women of Tampa Bay the confidence they need actually stems from her own challenges and pain. After having cosmetic surgery, Peske was very ill, and needed frequent trips to the hospital. After she had her implants removed, her health improved, but emotionally she still had a challenge to face. Lingerie stores often turned her down, saying they didn’t have anything that would fit her petite form.
The philanthropist, Denise Peske, aims not to just help ladies find the right bra, but also to give them confidence, self-empowerment, and celebrate their bodies. She wants these women to know their beauty, and to see them shine.
